    Sappi - circular distribution & general meeting
    Sappi Ltd. has distributed a circular to shareholders regarding a proposed 50/50 joint venture with UPM-Kymmene Oyj in European and international graphic paper operations. The transaction exceeds 30% of Sappi’s market capitalisation, requiring shareholder approval via an ordinary resolution at a General Meeting scheduled for 23 July 2026. The circular, which includes detailed terms and a notice of the meeting, is available on Sappi’s website. Shareholders must be registered by 17 July 2026 to participate and vote electronically. The meeting will be hosted online through Lumi Global, facilitating remote participation and voting.
