Nampak - results of annual general meeting
Nampak shareholders approved all resolutions at the AGM held in Cape Town, including re-election of directors PJ Mnisi, KW Mzondeki, PM Roux, and AJ Heyl, as well as the appointment of external auditors and members of the audit and risk committee. Key resolutions on remuneration, financial assistance, share repurchase, and related-party transactions were also passed. The company reported that in Q1 ending 30 September 2026, Beverage South Africa met revenue and profit expectations, while Diversified faced challenges due to customer changes and crop dynamics. Beverage Angola outperformed expectations. Nampak anticipates a decline in cash flow from Diversified, with improvements expected from Beverage South Africa and Angola. The company is focused on enhancing factory efficiencies and refining its strategic business model.
