RGT Smart finalisation announcement
RGT Smart shareholders are referred to the announcement released on SENS on Monday, 24 June 2013 and are advised that all outstanding conditions precedent in relation to the Scheme have been fulfilled. As detailed in the circular sent to RGT shareholders on Thursday, 23 May 2013, the salient dates and times relating to the scheme remain the same and are as follows:
- Finalisation date on Friday, 12 July
- Finalisation date announcement to be published on SENS on Friday, 12 July
- Last day to trade RGT Shares on the JSE in order to be recorded in the register to receive the Scheme Consideration on Friday, 19 July
- Suspension of listing on the JSE of RGT Shares at commencement of trading on Monday, 22 July
- Scheme Consideration Record Date, being the time and date on which Scheme Participants must be recorded in the register to receive the Scheme Consideration, by 12:00 on Friday, 26 July
- Expected Operative Date of the Scheme on Monday, 29 July
- Scheme Consideration to be paid/posted to Certificated Scheme Participants (if Documents of Title are received on or prior to 12:00 on the Scheme Consideration Record Date) on or about Monday, 29 July
- Dematerialised Scheme Participants have their accounts (held at their CSDP or Broker) updated on Monday, 29 July
- Termination of listing of RGT Shares on the JSE at the commencement of trading on Tuesday, 30 July.
