DTH --finalisation announcement and new dates
Shareholders are referred to the announcement released on SENS on 16 August 2010 regarding the granting of an order ("order of court") by the South Gauteng High Court sanctioning the scheme of arrangement in terms of section 311 of the Companies Act no 61 of 1973("the scheme").
A certified copy of the order of court was registered by the Companies and Intellectual Property Registration Office ("CIPRO") on 20 August 2010. There are no remaining outstanding suspensive conditions to the scheme.
Remaining salient dates
The remaining salient dates in terms of the Scheme are set out below:
- Last day to trade to become a scheme participant, on Friday, 3 September 2010
- Shares suspended as from commencement of trade, on Monday, 6 September 2010
- Scheme consideration record date on which scheme participants must be recorded in the register to receive the scheme consideration, on Friday, 10 September 2010
- Operative date of the Scheme from commencement of trade, on Monday, 13 September 2010
- Date on which the scheme consideration will be made available to the scheme participants, on Monday, 13 September 2010
- Listing terminates at commencement of trade, on Tuesday, 14 September 2010
