| British American Tobacco plc (\"BAT\", JSE: \"BTI\") announced the final results of its tender offer for its EUR1,000,000,000 Perpetual Subordinated Fixed-to-Reset Rate Non-Call 5.25 Year Securities (ISIN: XS2391779134). The offer, which expired on 28 October 2025, saw EUR806,844,000 of securities tendered and accepted, representing approximately 80.68% of the outstanding amount. BAT will pay a purchase price of 100.375% of the principal, plus accrued interest, and expects settlement on 31 October 2025. If the New Financing Condition is satisfied, BAT intends to exercise its option to redeem remaining securities following settlement, as the tendered amount exceeds the 75% threshold for a substantial repurchase event. The securities will be cancelled upon purchase. |
