    Retirement of non-executive director of Sasol Limited: W A M Clewlow        
    Sasol Limited announces the retirement of its non-executive director, Mr W  
A M Clewlow on 31 December 2006.                                            
    In terms of article 86(f) of the Company`s articles of association a        
    director shall retire at the end of the year in which he or she reaches the 
    age of 70.                                                                  
Mr Clewlow reached the age of 70 during the calendar year and will          
    therefore retire from the Sasol Board and Audit Committee on 31 December    
    2006.  Mr Clewlow joined the board of Sasol in 1992.                        
    The Chairman of the Sasol Board, Mr P V Cox, said: "I would like to thank   
Warren Clewlow for his many years of sterling service as independent non-   
    executive director on Sasol`s board and many of the board committees."
