TRADING STATEMENT                                                               
In terms of the JSE Securities Exchange South Africa Listings Requirements,     
companies are required to publish a trading statement as soon as they are       
reasonably certain that the financial results for the current reporting period  
will be more than 20% different than that of the previous corresponding period. 
As a result of the above, Pinnacle`s shareholders are informed that, for the six
months ended 31 December 2004, Pinnacle`s headline earnings per share and       
earnings per share are expected to be between 100% and 105% higher than the     
comparative results for the 6 months ending 31 December 2003.                   
The above information has not been reviewed or reported on by the company`s     
auditors. The company`s interim results for the six months ended 31 December    
2004 are expected to be published on or about 18 February 2005.
