APPOINTMENT OF COMPANY SECRETARY                                                
In accordance with paragraphs 3.59 and 3.61 of the Listings Requirements of the 
JSE Securities Exchange South Africa, Pinnacle hereby announces the appointment 
of Hano Coetzee as the new company secretary with effect from 3 November 2004.  
Mr Coetzee, the group financial manager of the company, replaces Mr W Gartner,  
who now assumes responsibility for group and statutory reporting.
