(`Pinnacle` or `the Company`)
TRADING UPDATE AND CAUTIONARY ANNOUNCEMENT
Shareholders are advised that Pinnacle`s earnings and headline earnings for the
year ended 30 June 2004, will be substantially higher (`substantially` being an
increase of equal to or greater than 30% as defined in paragraph 3.4 (b) (i) of
the JSE Securities Exchange South Africa (`JSE`) Listings Requirements), than
that of the prior comparative period.
The improvement in earnings is mainly attributable to increased revenues and
margins resulting from increased level of trading activities in both the
corporate and government sectors within its primary operating subsidiary,
Pinnacle Micro (Proprietary) Limited.
The earnings and headline earnings for the year ended 30 June 2004 have not been
reviewed and reported on by Pinnacle`s auditors, and shareholders are
accordingly advised to exercise caution when dealing in the Company`s securities
on the JSE until the audited results are announced, which is
expected to be on or about 30 September 2004.
