Changes to the board of directors                                               
In terms of rule 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited,          
shareholders are advised that Mrs Grathel Motau has resigned as independent     
non-executive director of the Group with effect from 19 October 2009.           
Mrs Motau joined the Pinnacle Board of Directors on 23 May 2006, in addition to 
the Pinnacle Audit and Risk Committees, where her experience and insight added  
substantial value to the Group.                                                 
Mrs Motau has accepted an appointment with one of the big four audit firms,     
whose policies preclude outside board positions and she has tendered her        
resignation as a result.                                                        
The Pinnacle Board of Directors extends its sincere gratitude and appreciation  
to Mrs Motau for her contribution and wish her the very best in her future      
endeavours.
