Cipla Medpro South Africa Ltd. is South Africa's 3rd largest pharmaceutical company through its subsidiary Cipla Medpro Holdings (Pty) Ltd., which has access to one of the best pipelines in the world through a 20 year supply agreement with Cipla India, and commands a substantial share of the local chronic medicines market targeting inter alia, the respiratory, cardiovascular, ARV and diabetes markets.
The group's 4000mē world-class manufacturing plant based in Durban, Kwazulu Natal, is MCC-accredited and is PIC/S compliant. The group continues to make ongoing improvements to the facility.
