Corwil removal of listing by the JSE
The JSE recently advised the Issuer that it commenced proceedings to remove the Issuer's listing at the instance of the JSE pursuant to the provisions of the JSE Listings Requirements, as the issuer has breached various provisions of the JSE Listings Requirements (the "Requirements").
The JSE provided the Issuer with an opportunity to make written representations as to why the removal of the Issuer should not be affected.
Due to the Issuer's continued failure to comply with the peremptory provisions of the Requirements and its failure to show cause why the listing of its securities should not be terminated, we hereby confirm that the JSE has decided to remove the listing of the Issuer in accordance with the provisions of the Financial Markets Act No.19 of 2012 (the "FMA") and the Requirements.
Shareholders are therefore advised that the Issuer's listing will be removed from the commencement of business on Tuesday, 29 July 2014 and that they will remain shareholders in an unlisted company. Accordingly, the last day to trade (off-market) will be Friday, 18 July 2014 and the record date will be Friday, 25 July 2014.
