Notice was given in terms of the provisions of section 45(5)(b) of the Companies Act, 71 of 2008 (\"the Companies Act\") and pursuant to the special resolutions passed at the annual general meeting of the Company held on 22 February 2024 and 20 February 2025, respectively, authorising the Board of Directors of the Company to provide direct and indirect financial assistance to related and inter-related companies.
During the period 1 October 2024 to 30 September 2025, the Company has provided financial assistance to related entities, based on the provisions set out in section 45(3) of the Companies Act. The financial assistance provided to related entities is customary for a group of Tiger Brands' size and is designed to optimise the cost of funding. The total value of the financial assistance granted did not exceed one-tenth of 1% of the Company's net worth. |
