RESULTS ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING:                                                 
-    AN OFFER TO REPURCHASE ALL OF THE CONAFEX SHARES IN ISSUE OTHER THAN THOSE 
    HELD OR CONTROLLED BY THE MAJOR SHAREHOLDERS OF CONAFEX ("the offer"); AND  
-    THE TERMINATION OF CONAFEX`S LISTING ON THE LUXEMBOURG STOCK EXCHANGE ("the
LuxSE"), JSE LIMITED ("the JSE")                                            
Shareholders are referred to the announcements on 21 August 2008 and 25 February
2009 respectively and the circular to shareholders dated 26 February 2009 as    
well as announcement dated 20 March 2009.                                       
Conafex wish to announce that on closing of the offer on Friday, 3 April 2009 a 
total of 36,324 shares were repurchased by the company, being 1.42% of Conafex`s
issued share capital.                                                           
The listing of Conafex shares will be terminated on the LuxSE and the JSE with  
effect from commencement of business on Thursday, 9 April 2009.
