Pioneer - cancellation of AGM
Shareholders are referred to the No Change Statement, Posting of Integrated Annual Report and Notice of AGM published on SENS on 30 January 2020 and the combined finalisation announcement regarding the scheme of arrangement, in terms of which, inter alia, Simba (Pty) Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of PepsiCo, Inc, will acquire the issued ordinary shares of Pioneer Foods ("Pioneer Foods Ordinary Shares"), excluding Pioneer Foods Ordinary Shares held by subsidiaries of Pioneer Foods ("Scheme"), published on SENS on 6 March 2020.
Given that the Scheme will be implemented on 23 March 2020, shareholders are hereby advised that the AGM scheduled for Friday, 27 March 2020 at 10am is cancelled and all resolutions tabled for consideration are hereby withdrawn.
