Sasol - GM results
Sasol shareholders were advised of the results of the business conducted at Sasol's General Meeting held on 17 November 2023.
The special resolution was passed by the requisite majority of voting rights exercised.

Sasol - AGM to be reconvened
The annual general meeting which had been convened to take place on Friday, 17 November 2023 could not take place due to disruption by protestors. Cancelling the meeting became the only prudent option, as the chairman was inhibited from effectively communicating with the shareholders present. Further communication will be addressed to shareholders regarding the way forward on this matter.

Sasol - president and CEO appointment
The board announced the appointment of Mr Simon Baloyi as the President and CEO and executive director of the Company with effect from 1 April 2024. Mr Fleetwood Grobler, the current President and CEO will continue to serve in an executive advisor role until 31 December 2024, to ensure a smooth and structured handover.

Sasol - resignation of chairman
Mr Sipho Nkosi stepped down as chairman and non-executive director of Sasol on 10 November 2023. Mr Nkosi The board appointed Mr Stephen Westwell, currently non-executive and lead-independent director, as pro tem chairman of the board with effect from 11 November 2023.
