Sasol announces retirement of Trevor Munday
Trevor Munday, deputy chief executive, will retire from executive management at the end of the company's current financial year. Prior to this retirement date, Mr Munday will utilise his accumulated leave of approximately six months as from the end of December 2006. He will step down as a director of Sasol Ltd on 31 December 2006.

Sasol in talks to build GTL plant in Iran
Sasol is currently in talks with Iran to construct a gas-to-liquids plant. Johann van Rheede, spokesman for Sasol, told Business Day, "We are in talks with Iran, but we would obviously need to study all the criteria first."

Sasol -- submission to windfall tax task team
Sasol has today submitted its written submission to the National Treasury Task Team assessing possible reforms to the fiscal regime applicable to windfall profits in South Africa's liquid fuel energy sector, with particular reference to the synthetic fuel industry. Sasol will participate in the public hearings of the Task Team to be held on, Tuesday, 15 and Wednesday, 16 August 2006.
