APPOINTMENT OF INDEPENDENT NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR                               
In terms of paragraph 3.59 of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, the        
board of Amecor is pleased to announce that Mr Percy Ford Chaung Ying was       
appointed to the board as an independent Non-Executive Director with effect     
from 16 March 2012.                                                             
Percy will also form part of Amecor`s remuneration and audit committees.        
Percy, who obtained his financial qualifications (CA (SA), CFA), studied at     
the University of the Witwatersrand and is a director at PYB International      
(Pty) Ltd, and specialises in financial reporting, tax and investments.         
Amecor would like to wish Percy a very warm welcome to the board and looks      
forward to the integration of his input and expertise going forward.
