Shareholders are referred to the announcement dated 27 August 2010 and are      
now advised that the Izitsalo Acquisition has been implemented in accordance    
with its terms.                                                                 
As a result thereof AFGRI also announces the resignations of MM Moloele, MI     
Mogari and KL Thoka as directors of AFGRI, with effect from 3 September 2010.   
The Board thanks these directors for their valued contributions and wishes      
them well in their future endeavours.
